Sharon Rose Gunter Warden, age 56, of 2715 Auburn Street, Low Moor, Virginia, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany in Low Moor.

She was born April 15, 1958 in Grayson County to Evelyn Faye Webb Gunter Maxey and the late Wilmer Eugene Gunter.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and a member of Concerned Christian Baptist Church of Covington.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Maxey and stepfather, Grady Maxey of Martinsville; her husband, Gary Russell Warden of Low Moor; her daughter, Carrie Warden of Low Moor; two sisters, Kathy Hardy and husband, Glenn of Chatham, and Tammy Ferguson and husband, Ricky of Bassett; three brothers, Michael Gunter of Critz, Terry Gunter of Axton, and Phillip Gunter and wife, Debbie of Bassett; two grandchildren, Shelby Sammons and Shyann Sammons; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Concerned Christian Baptist Church in Covington with Reverend William Hickman and Reverend Michael Fisher officiating.

There will be no visitation.
