Obituary for Kathryn Pauline (Polly) Echols Craft Kathryn Pauline (Polly) Echols Craft
Former Clifton Forge Resident, C&O Retiree, Dies In Richmond

Kathryn Pauline (Polly) Echols Craft, 92, of Richmond, Virginia, and formerly of Clifton Forge, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 11, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Edgar Craft in 1992.

She is survived by one son, Stephen Craft of Chesterfield County; three daughters, Faye Hunter of Forest, Gaye Arritt of Woodbridge, and Paula Craft of Midlothian; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Polly was born September 6, 1922 in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, to the late Rufus Alfred and Edmonia Brough Echols.

She was retired from the C & O Railroad in 1984 as Division Storekeeper and moved to Richmond in 1993.

A service in honor of Polly's life will be held on Saturday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Glenn Clements officiating.

The family will meet with those who wish to express condolences on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Nicely Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held for Polly at Bon Air Christian Church, 2071 Buford Road, Richmond, Va. 23235 on Saturday, February 28, at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Bon Air Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
