Mr. Richard Michael (Mike) Harrison, age 66, of Covington, Virginia, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at Virginia Medical Center, Richmond.

He was the husband of Brenda Ginger Harrison.

Mr. Harrison was born November 11, 1948 in Covington, the son of Edith Arline Humphreys Harrison and the late Richard Warren Harrison.

During his working career, Mike had been employed by the Virginian Review, Covington Motor Company and Walmart before his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his yard.

In addition to his mother and his wife, Mr. Harrison is survived by two sons, Chad Michael Harrison and Brandon Charles Harrison; two grandchildren, Melody Bryant and Jeremiah Bryant; one brother, Patrick "Pat" Harrison and wife, Erin of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hartsfield officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 11:30 a.m. until service time at Loving Funeral Home.
