Obituary for Davina Davidson (Davey) Perry Davina Davidson (Davey) Perry
Well-Known, Much-Loved Local Woman Was Retired From Farrar's Drug Store; Was Central United Methodist Church Member

Davina Davidson (Davey) Perry, age 88, of The Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clifton Forge, Virginia, and formerly of Hamilton Avenue, Clifton Forge, died Friday, March 6, 2015 at The Woodlands.

Davey was born October 17, 1926 in Schenectady, New York, to the late David and Gertrude Bradford Davidson.

She was retired from Farrar's Drug Store and was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Annie Livesey Fellowship. She was also a member of the Clifton Forge Women's Club, the Twilight Garden Club, the Order of the Eastern Star Electa Chapter No. 33 and a past Worthy Matron of Martha Chapter, the former Clifton Forge Anata Shrine Guild, a past committee member of Boy Scout Troop Number 2, the Mountain Regional Hospice Volunteers, and an avid bridge player.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Perry.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn R. Perry and wife, Cindy Coffman Perry of Clifton Forge, and Dale C. Perry of Hampton; two grandchildren, Keenan Entsminger and wife, Carrie of Midlothian, and Kara Caldwell and husband, Brandon of Clifton Forge; and two great grandchildren, Amelia Grace Caldwell and Jane Perry Entsminger.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with the Reverend Donna Sams officiating.

The Funeral Ceremonial of the Order of the Eastern Star Electa Chapter No. 33 will be conducted at the service.

In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated following the service. The family will visit with friends on Monday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Mountain Regional Hospice Volunteers, P. O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422, The Woodlands Activity Fund, 1000 Fairview Ave, Clifton Forge, VA 24422, or the Kazim Temple Transportation Fund, 628 West Campbell Ave, Roanoke, VA 24016.
