Obituary for Nancy Sellers Via Moss Nancy Sellers Via Moss
Covington Resident Was Covington School System Cafeteria Worker

Mrs. Nancy Sellers Via Moss, age 84, of Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at LewisGale Medical Center, Salem.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Elwood Franklin Via in 1967 and her second husband, Bill Lewis Moss in 2012, one son, Donnie Wayne Via in 2012, and a great grandson, Koby Allen Rathbun in 2013.

Mrs. Moss was born October 21, 1930 in Covington, the daughter of the late George Chalmer Sellers and Myrtle Morris Sellers.

She was employed as a cafeteria worker by the Covington School System, retiring with forty-one years of service.

Nancy also supervised the swimming pool at High Acres Mobile Home Park.

She was a faithful member of Calvary Christian Church. Nancy enjoyed life and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Moss is survived by two sons, J. R. Via and wife, Sheila and Gary Via and wife, Tina; three daughters, Marsha Tucker and husband, Frankie, Debbie Via and Cricket Andrews and husband, Butch; a daughter-in-law, Sylvia Tolley Via; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; her cat, Miss Charlotte; and many friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home and at the home of Cricket and Butch Andrews, 901 Hillcrest Drive, Covington at other times.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Calvary Christian Church, 1329 S. Pond Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
