Obituary for Clinton Orie Reed Clinton Orie Reed
Former Webb Plumbing And Heating Employee Was Johnson Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church Member

Mr. Clinton Orie Reed, age 76, of Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, April 2, 2015, at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.

He was the husband of the late Patricia Church Reed.

Mr. Reed was born February 2, 1939 in Alleghany County, the son of the late Jessie Grayden Reed and Annie Ward Reed.

A resident of this community for most of his life, he had been employed by Bill Webb Plumbing and Heating.

Clinton was a member of Johnson Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.

Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Mr. Reed is survived by two sons, Jeffrey W. Reed and Scott R. Reed and wife, Teresa, all of Covington; three grandchildren, Emma Reed, Noah Reed and Lisa Loecher and husband, Chris; four great grandchildren, Andrew Loecher, Ashton Reed, Lucas Loecher and Leah Loecher; one brother, Norman Reed and wife, Janet of Virginia; two sisters, Judy R. Howard and Virginia R. Smith and husband, Aaron, all of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Reed was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Reed in 2009 and a brother-in-law, Robert Howard, Sr.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Johnson Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church with Rev. Paul Burns officiating.

Interment will follow in Johnson Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church.

The family suggests that memorial donation be made to Johnson Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 4804 Johnson Creek Road, Covington, VA 24426.
