Millboro Resident Was Millboro Christian Church Member, Concierge At Homestead

Rhonda McGlothlin Kennedy, age 55 of 3716 Ridge Road, Millboro, Virginia, died Monday, April 20, 2015 at her residence.

She was born April 27, 1959 in Bath County to Betty Vess McGlothlin and the late Ralph Wannell McGlothlin, Sr.

She was a concierge for The Owners Club at The Omni Homestead Resort.

She was a member of Millboro Christian Church and the Millboro Area Rescue Squad.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph W. McGlothlin, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Kennedy of Millboro; her mother, Betty McGlothlin of Millboro; a son, Danny Grimm and wife, Lisa of Millboro; a step daughter, Ginger Kennedy of Fishersville; five sisters, Gloria Bryan of Millboro, Louise Wolfe of Millboro, Audrey Ruley and husband, Roger of Churchville, Patricia Lowry and husband, Bill of Millboro, and Kathy McGlothlin of Millboro; a brother, Jeff McGlothlin and wife, Sandy of Millboro; three grandchildren, Daniel Grimm of Millboro, Elizabeth Hostetter of Millboro, and Aidan McCool of Fishersville; and a number of nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Kelly Grant of Georgia and Misty Lowry of Millboro.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Lloyd Via officiating. Interment will follow in Millboro Christian Cemetery, Millboro.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Millboro Area Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 295, Millboro, VA 24460.
