Mrs. Helen Pullin Worley, age 74, of Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at her residence.

She was the wife of the late Leslie Phillip "Phil" Worley, Sr.

Mrs. Worley was born January 21, 1941 in Hot Springs, the daughter of the late Jesse Edward Pullin, Sr. and Mattie Ailstock Pullin.

She was employed as a registered nurse by the former Alleghany Regional Hospital.

Helen was an active member of Parrish Court United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Lady's Circle, helped with Bible School, participated in Bible Study and was on the Hospitality Committee and the Decorating Committee.

She was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and was a conservative Republican.

Mrs. Worley is survived by a son, Phil Worley, Jr.; a daughter, Debbie Worley Deacon; two grandchildren, Kelly Deacon and Sarah Hyler and husband, Travis; a brother, Jesse E. Pullin, Jr. and wife, Shirley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Worley was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Pullin, Sr., and one sister, Hilda P. Wright.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2015, at Parrish Court United Methodist Church with Rev. Deborah Washer officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Parrish Court United Methodist Church. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Parrish Court United Methodist Church Men's Club or Parrish Court United Methodist Church Children's Ministry, 2343 S. Carpenter Drive, Covington, VA 24426.
