Obituary for Edith McManamay Zollman Edith McManamay Zollman
Retired VDOT Engineering Clerk Dies At Age 85

Edith McManamay Zollman, 85, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Benjamin Borden Center in Lexington, Virginia.

Born May 1, 1929 in Rockbridge County, the daughter of the late Wilton A. McManamay and Effie Claytor McManamay.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Coleman Zollman; and six siblings, Alden McManamay, Thomas McManamay, Ruby Reynolds, Axie Moore, Cindy Daugherty, and Lydia Johnson.

Mrs. Zollman was a member of the Stone Church of the Brethren in Buena Vista, and retired as an Engineering Clerk for the Virginia Department of Transportation after thirty five years of service.

Surviving are one sister, Lucy I. McManamay of Lexington; a special friend Marshall T. Smith, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Stone Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Russ Barb officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Edith to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers Street, Lexington, VA 24450 or to the Stone Church of the Brethren, 2162 Forest Avenue, Buena Vista, VA 24416.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at the church.
