Trinity United Methodist Church Member Was Well-Known Local Golf Course Employee

Kenneth Crockett Hostetter, 81, of Lexington, Virginia, died on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his home.

He was born on June 19, 1933, a son of the late Claude C. Hostetter and the late Ethel Knick Hostetter.

He is survived by Nancy Tolley Hostetter, his wife of 60 years; a daughter, Cheryl Jones, of Charlottesville; a son, Kenny and his wife, Dana, of Montpelier; a sister, Pauline Johnson, of Lexington; four grandchildren, Richard C. Jones, Jr., of Cape Charles, Ann Tolley Jones, of Charlottesville; Becca Hostetter and Daniel Hostetter, of Montpelier; a nephew, Donnie Johnson, of Harrisonburg, many relatives in the Tolley family, and many friends in and around the Lexington area.

Mr. Hostetter was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Kenneth was employed by the Virginia Department of Highways, City of Lexington, Lexington Golf and Country Club, and Vista Links.

A memorial service celebrating Kenneth's life will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Norman Tippens officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made in loving memory of Kenneth to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. James R. Crews and his staff for the loving care afforded Ken during his lengthy illness.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
