Obituary for Bonnie Walton Tucker Bonnie Walton Tucker
Former Halmode Employee Was Clift Church Of God Of Prophecy Member

Bonnie Walton Tucker, 71, of 7414 Tucker Road, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, May 3, 2015.

Mrs. Tucker was born May 1, 1944, in Greenbrier County, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Lacy Walton, Sr. and Jessie Shue Walton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Sam Tucker in 2011, and also by one sister and two brothers.

She was an employee of the former Halmode Inc. sewing plant in Covington and a longtime member of the Clift Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving are three Daughters and Sons-in-law, Selina and Everett Bowen, Sophie and Mike Poe, and Lucy and Joey Brewster, all of Covington; one son and daughter-in-law, Lacy and Norma Tucker of Covington; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Cook and Mary Jane Phillips and her husband, Bud, all of Covington, and Frances Tucker of Roanoke; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Nancy Hubbard officiating. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.
