Alleghany County Native Was Former Greenbrier-Ashford Hospital Employee

Mrs. Lucille Ford Feury Seyglinski, age 88, of Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at the Brian Center in Low Moor, Virginia.

She was the wife of the late Edward Seyglinski.

Mrs. Seyglinski was born on February 4, 1927 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Roy Feury and Mary Myers Feury.

A lifetime resident of the community, she was employed at the former Greenbrier-Ashford Hospital, where she met her late husband while he convalesced from injuries sustained in World War II.

She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren, gardening and loved her animals.

She was a member of Granbery United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Amelia Tate; granddaughter Jessica and husband, David Powell, great-grandson, Garrett and great-granddaughter, Harper, all of Winston-Salem, N.C.; brother, Wayne Feury and wife, Louise of White Sulphur Springs, W.V.; brother-in-law, Leo Seyglinski and wife, Jenet; sister-in-law, Mary Salvaggio and husband, Danny of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Joan Ogorek of New Jersey; a number of nieces and nephews; and her cat, Casper.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James, a sister, Mary Helen, infant sister, Elizabeth, son-in-law, Chuck Tate, and beloved dog, Chloe.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, in the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Reverend James M. Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Wayne Feury, Robert Feury, David Powell, Rick Feury, Ronnie Hancock, and Bob Powell.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
