Obituary for Anna Z. Cauthorn Anna Z. Cauthorn
Homemaker Was Active In The Millboro Presbyterian Church

Anna Zentmyer Cauthorn, 87, of 1353 Lower Yard Road, Millboro, Virginia, died Sunday, August 9, 2015 in Bath Community Hospital, Hot Springs.

She was born on February 27, 1928, a daughter of the late Cyril Hockley Zentmyer and Madeline Higgs Zentmyer.

She was a homemaker throughout her life, was a member of the Millboro Presbyterian Church and an active member of the Ladies Circle of the church.

She is survived by a son, Richard Mason Cauthorn, III and wife, Kathleen of Millboro; three daughters, Deborah Cauthorn Waddell of Harrisonburg, Susan Cauthorn Plecker and husband, Marty of Millboro and Eva Rebecca Cauthorn, who resides at the Virginia Home in Richmond; sister, Virginia "Tookie" Hall of Canby, Oregon; 7 grandchildren, Todd Cauthorn and wife, Nicola, Kristin Shannon and husband, Mike, Katie Mercer and husband, Greg, Brooke Kamenski and husband, Brian, Lyndsay Keck and husband, Damon, Erin Roberts and husband, Randy, Ryan Plecker; 10 great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mason Cauthorn, Jr., two brothers, Johnny Zentmyer and C. H. Zentmyer, Jr., three sisters, Susie Moore, Petie Doudna Bo, and Martha Zentmyer.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Millboro Presbyterian Church in Millboro with the Rev. John Haney officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the church.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Bratton Cemetery, c/o Bobby Lou Thornsberry, 161 Stillwater Drive, Goshen, Va. 24439.
