Obituary for Thomas Graham Ailstock, Sr. Thomas Graham Ailstock, Sr.
Covington Native Was Marine Corps Veteran, MeadWestvaco Retiree

Mr. Thomas Graham Ailstock, Sr., age 74, of Covington, Virginia, died Monday, August 31, 2015, at The Springs Nursing Center, Hot Springs, VA.

He was the husband of Juanita M. Ailstock.

Mr. Ailstock was born September 5, 1940 in Covington, the son of the late William Lee Ailstock, Sr. and Frances Hepler Ailstock.

He was a lifetime member of this community.

Thomas served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps for four years.

Mr. Ailstock was employed by MeadWestvaco for thirty-five years, where he worked on # 6 and #7 paper machines and on the oil gang.

He was a member of Greenwood Presbyterian Church.

Thomas loved to hunt, go antiquing, the Dallas Cowboys football team, and listening to country music.

In addition to his wife, Juanita M. Ailstock, Mr. Ailstock is survived by one son, Thomas G. Ailstock, Jr. and wife, Angie Nguyen of Miami, FL; two grandchildren, Gabriel Noel Ailstock and Olivia Carol Ailstock; three brothers; three sisters; and beloved dog, Angel.

A private memorial service will be conducted at a later time.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Falling Spring Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 880, Covington, VA 24426.
