Mrs. Ruth Athalie Forbes Nicely, age 92, of Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, October 25, 2015.

She was the wife of the late Leonard Elwood Nicely, Sr.

Mrs. Nicely was born September 8, 1923 in Goshen, the daughter of the late Wallace Forbes and Pauline Samples Forbes.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.
