Obituary for Jackie Wayne Woodzell, Sr. Jackie Wayne Woodzell, Sr.
U. S. Air Force Veteran Was Owner Of Jack's Trucking and Trash Service

Jackie Wayne Woodzell, Sr., 79, of Hot Springs, Virginia, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 27, 1936 in Hot Springs, the son of the late James R. Woodzell, Sr. and Virginia May Green.

He was the owner of Jack's Trucking and Trash Service, and was the caretaker for the Burke family and the Burwell family.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was a member of Virginia Chapel United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed his Sunday School class.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

"Woodzell Hill" was very important to him and all of his family members.

Mr. Woodzell was a big advocate of the Relay for Life. He was a giving person who was a friend to all.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patsy Ann Kincaid Woodzell of Hot Springs; seven children: Debra May Woodzell Burns and husband Michael of Hot Springs, Helen Woodzell Cook of Roanoke, Virginia, Russell Woodzell and wife Trudy of Hot Springs, Jackie Wayne Woodzell, Jr. of Palm Springs, California, Michael Kincaid and Diana Woodzell of Warm Springs, Virginia, Carla Hickman and husband, Gary of Hot Springs and Louie Kincaid and Glenda Burke of Bolar, Virginia; twelve grandchildren: Dustin Kincaid, Chezley Kincaid Pillow, Kara Kincaid, Preston Wiseman, Julie Abbott, Zachary Woodzell, Ryan Woodzell, William Kincaid, Gary Hickman, Jr., Corey Hickman, Amber Kincaid and Brooke Crawford; five great grandchildren, Lucas, Lucy, Elyza Grace, Ledger and Brianna; a brother; Kenny Woodzell and wife Tessie of Hot Springs; three sisters, Nancy "Cookie" Meadows, Ellen "Bootsie" Hodge and husband, Billy and Sandy "Grey" Hanson and husband, Bill all of Hot Springs; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald "Buck" Woodzell and James Woodzell; and a sister, Shirley Stinnett; a mother-in-law, Lillian Kincaid.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Pastor Lorrie Aikens and Pastor Glen Stinnett officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hot Springs Rescue Squad, P. O. Box N, Hot Springs, Virginia 24445.
