Kenneth L. Moore, 79, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at his residence.

Born November 28, 1935, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Oliver Rice Moore and Dolly Mae Campbell Moore Henson.

He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Ralph T. Henson Sr., brother, James E. Moore, sister, Deloris Humphries, half brothers, Richard Campbell, and Ralph T. Henson Jr.

He was a member of the Blue Ridge Baptist Church.

He served his country in the United States Air Force.

Surviving are his wife, Edna Mae Campbell Moore; one son, Mike Moore and Wendy; brother, Oliver A. Moore and Barbara; sisters, Brenda Austin and Bobby; Patricia Walker and Gordie; and Linda Deyton; and two special friends, Tammy Argenbright and Gary Austin.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Art Brumit officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
