Obituary for Fleming Bell Jr. Fleming Bell Jr.
Buena Vista Resident Was 7th Day Adventist Church Member

Fleming Bell Jr. 75, of Buena Vista, Virginia, formerly of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, at University of Virginia.

He was born in Harlem, Ga., to the late Fleming Bell Sr. and Maggie B. Jackson December 5, 1939.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jean Bell; brothers, John Thomas Wheeler, Rufus Wheeler Sr., and Robert Bell Sr.

Fleming was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He also served his country for two years in the United States Army.

Surviving are his wife, Cathy; six children, Fleming Bell III (Trish), Terri Lark (Smiley), Tina Donald Bonds, Christopher Bell, Tanio Bell, and Isaiah Bell; seven grandchildren, Casey Bell, Ray'Chaunia Bell, Derrick Lark, Donyelle Lark-Hill, Trevon Mays, Ebony Bell, and Khalea Francis; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Dority, Marilyn Lightfoot and Desiree Fryee; sister-in-law, Patricia Wright-Bell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Harrison Funeral Chapel. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
