Robert Larry (Bobby) Potter, Jr., age 53, of 9608 Rich Patch Road, Low Moor, Virginia, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke.

Bobby was born January 2, 1962 in Clifton Forge to Betty Harlow and the late Robert Larry Potter, Sr.

He was an electrician for H & M Electric for over thirty years.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, the Clifton Forge Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. # 1065, and the Cliftondale Country Club.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Chittester.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Jean Loope Potter of Low Moor; his mother, Betty Harlow of Covington; two daughters, Tonya Wolfe and husband, A.J. of Covington and Emilee Loope of Harrisonburg; a son, Dustin Potter of Covington; a sister, Rhonda Snead and husband, Mike of Roanoke; and three grandchildren, Emma Wolfe, Chance Wolfe and Zac Wolfe.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Billy Price officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
