Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Arbogast Huffman Mary Elizabeth Arbogast Huffman
Millboro Presbyterian Church Member Was West Virginia Native

Mary Elizabeth Arbogast Huffman, age 97, of 509 Jonestown Road, Covington, Virginia, and formerly of Millboro, died Monday, December 21, 2015 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

She was born July 11, 1918 in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, to the late Cleve and Virgie M. Mick Arbogast.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and a member of Millboro Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd W. Huffman in 1981; two sons, Leo Huffman and Rodney Huffman; two brothers, Delbert Arbogast and Delton Arbogast; three sisters, Elsie Chapman, Jenny Hise and Dorothy Jack; a daughter-in-law, Betty Lou Huffman; a son-in-law, Doren Kemper; three grandchildren, Rodney Huffman, Jr., Robert Campbell and Ronnie Huffman; a great grandson, Jacob Gilbert; and a special friend, Russell Rhea.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Kemper of Covington; two sons, Raymond Huffman and wife, JoAnn of Thurmont, MD and Lloyd "Junior" Huffman and wife, Becky of Goshen; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Clinton "Skeet" Jack.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Millboro Christian Church, Millboro with Reverend Lloyd Via and Reverend Jessee Bass officiating. Interment will follow in Millboro Christian Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Hugh Myers, Rob Sexton, Kevin Wiles, Tuckie Huffman, David Helmintoller and Randy Gilbert. The family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to the service at Millboro Christian Cemetery.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is in charge of arrangements.
