Michael Allen Harris, 44, of 3707 Potts Creek Road, Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, in Lewis Gale Hospital at Salem.

Mr. Harris was born May 10, 1971 in Alleghany County, a son of Al Harris of Covington and the late Shirley Martin Harris.

In addition to his father, he is survived by Donnie Cash of Covington and two sisters, Stacy Smith and Shelly Simmons, both of Covington.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Hartsfield officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at Arritt Funeral Home.
