Eugene Dempsey Mull, 84, of Glasgow, Virginia, died Friday, January 15, 2016, at Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem.

He was born on May 13, 1931, the son of the late John Mull and Lily S. Mull.

Mr. Mull was a member of the Falling Spring Presbyterian Church.

He was the last surviving member of his family.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Gladys Kerr Mull; daughters, Mitzie Mull Staton and husband, Eric; Katrina Mull Armstrong; and son, Conway A. Mull; six grandchildren, Connor D. Staton, Tyler E. Staton, Shane W. Armstrong, Darby L. Moore, Heather M. Hinton, and Derek Mull; three great-grandchildren, Danielle Moore, Darion Mull, and MacKenzie Hinton; and special friend and neighbor, Bobby Niece.

A Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ken officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016, at the funeral home.
