Catherine Louise (Cathy) Campbell Fitzgerald, age 58, of 1639 Cowpasture River Highway, Millboro, Virginia, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at her residence.

Cathy was born July 13, 1957 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, to the late Benjamin Franklin "Benny" and Shelby Jean Loving Campbell.

She was a homemaker throughout her life.

She was loved by everyone and made them feel like her family, but she had a special place in her heart for children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Drachen.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Calvin "Denny" Fitzgerald of Millboro; two daughters, Amy Cornett and husband, Stuart of Beckley, WV and Kristin Vass and husband, Matt of Rich Patch, Covington; two sons, Daniel Fitzgerald and girlfriend, Jessica King of Roanoke and Aaron Fitzgerald and wife, Brooke of Falling Spring, Covington; a sister, Donna C. Walton of Lewisburg, WV; a brother, B. Allen Campbell and wife, Kate of Charleston, WV; eleven grandchildren, Paige, Baylei, Kennedy, Rylei, Jordan, Kaiden, Bryce, Lexi, Owen, Shelby, and Michael.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Friday evening, February 19, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Lowell Qualls officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Elwood Deisher, Frank Thompson, Jack McKinney, Ralph Kimberlin, Jeremy Berberette, Billy Berberette, Lee Marshall and Chris Fulmer.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
