Earl Richard Haynes, Jr., age 73, of 800 W. Ridgeway Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at his residence.

He was born December 7, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Earl Richard Haynes, Sr. and Margaret May Morgan Haynes.

He was a retired laborer for the City of Richmond.

He is survived by a daughter, Janet Lynn Hicks; a son, David Allen Haynes of Covington; a sister, Brenda Entsminger of Covington; a brother, James R. Haynes and wife, Barbara Faye of Powhatan; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

There will be no services at this time.
