Stella Mae Dudley, age 76, of 244 Morris Hollow Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at her residence.

She was born April 3, 1939 in Rockbridge County to the late Owen Ira and Lelia Mae Hickman Dudley.

She was a homemaker throughout her life, and enjoyed outdoor work.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Dudley and James Dudley, and a sister, Marie Deeds.

She is survived by two sisters, Lucy Dudley and Esther Clark, and husband Fred, both of Clifton Forge; three brothers, Oler Dudley of Selma, Clarence Dudley of Iron Gate, and Glen Dudley and wife, Joan of Eagle Rock; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Victor Nicely officiating. There will be no formal visitation.

However, friends may call any time at the home.
