Obituary for Curtis Wayne Tingler Curtis Wayne Tingler
Alleghany County Native Was Retired Bradley's Sawmill Employee

Curtis Wayne Tingler, age 74, of The Brian Center, Low Moor, Virginia, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at The Brian Center.

He was born March 22, 1941 in Alleghany County to the late Helen Irene Tingler.

He was a retired laborer for Bradley's Sawmill and attended Immanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Marie Tingler.

He is survived by a brother, Thomas Edward "Tommy" Tingler and wife, Elaine of Low Moor; two aunts, Frances Tingler of Low Moor and Christine Schettino of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Sara Elmore and Tommy Tingler.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is handling arrangements.
