Eleanor (MeMaw) Snyder Fauber Glass, 80, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away, Friday, April 8, 2016 at her residence.

Born February 7, 1936, in Rockbridge Co, she was a daughter of the late Harry Calvin Snyder and Virginia Speck.

She was a member of the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Glass was also preceded in death by her husbands, William Ellis Fauber and James Hickman Glass; a son, William Christopher Fauber; grandchildren, Holly Brooke Burks, Richard (Rick) Ellis Burks; great-grandchild, Kristen Lynn Burks and her brother, Harry Calvin Snyder.

Surviving are her daughter, Ginnie Harris; stepson, James M. Glass and wife, Rebbeca; stepdaughter, Amanda Glass; granddaughter, Lindsey Jo Noel and husband, Brad; step-grandson, Rauf Glass; great-grandchildren, Alexis Marie Burks, Haley Lynn Burks, Breanna Ellis Burks, Cail Ellis Burks; very dear sisters-in-law, Irene Carawan, Betty Fauber; a faithful companion, Lucy Glass; her very dear high school friends, Patsy Hogan, Francis Wagner, Shirley Wagner; her neighbor, Debbie and Ronnie Coffie, Peggy Jolly and family; very dear nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 at Buena Vista Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John McDonald and the Rev Bart Hellmuth officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
