Obituary for Gerald Leamoine Wolfe Gerald Leamoine Wolfe
Retired Concrete Truck Driver Was Alleghany County Native

Gerald Leamoine Wolfe, 81, of 6804 Potts Creek Road, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his residence.

He was born April 12, 1935, in Alleghany County, a son of the late Leffel B. and Dora Jamison Wolfe.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.

Mr. Wolfe retired in 2009 as concrete truck driver with Aggregate Construction in Beltsville, MD.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Hinkle Wolfe of Covington; one son and daughter-in-law, Gerald Lee and Kimberly Wolfe of Pasadena, MD; two daughters, Carolyn "Susie" Hammer and her husband, Billy, of Shenandoah and Shannon Marie Wolfe and fiancé, David Critchley, of Jessup, MD ; 6 grandchildren ; 1 great granddaughter; one brother, Stanford Wolfe and his wife, Mary, of Covington; two sisters, Verlie Wilhelm and her husband, Norman, of Clifton Forge and Leola Wright of Newport News, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nancy Hubbard officiating.

Interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home.
