Rita Sizemore Kasinger, 96, of 602 Hoke Road, Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, May 12, 2016.

Mrs. Kasimger was born December 8, 1919, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Anderson and Jessie Hubbard Sizemore.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie Hoke; her second husband, James William Kasinger; four daughters, Mary Meadows, Elizabeth Hoke, Ellen Gail Hoke and Barbara Hoke; two sons, Bobby Hoke and Thomas Hoke; four sisters, Beulah, Ella, Frankie and Birdie; and four brothers, Raymond, John, Jim and Kenny.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Hoke, of Covington; her son, David Hoke, of Covington, and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Frank Sizemore officiating in Hokes Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive their friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday at Arritt Funeral Home.
