Former Hercules Inc. Employee Worked As Low Moor Extruder Plant Electrician

Mr. Lewis Anderson (Andy) St. Clair, Jr., age 66, of Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. St. Clair was born January 7, 1950 in Alleghany County, the son of the late Lewis Anderson St. Clair, Sr. and Mary Murray "Bea" St. Clair.

He was employed as an electrician at the Low Moor Extruder Plant and was a former employee of Hercules, Inc.

Mr. St. Clair was a member of Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.

Andy was an avid exercise enthusiast, which included weightlifting, competitive bodybuilding, hiking, and riding his bicycle. He enjoyed playing the guitar and talking with his friends. Mr. St. Clair loved to read and was attempting to reach a personal goal of reading all the books in the Clifton Forge Public Library.

Andy's greatest passion was hunting and especially enjoyed taking hunting trips all over the world. He also enjoyed fishing and being in the outdoors.

Mr. St. Clair is survived by a sister, Joy St. Clair Schambach and husband, Richard; nephews, John Littleton and wife, Amanda, Michael Littleton and wife, Shelley; great nephews, Dylan Wyeth Littleton and Mason Lewis Littleton, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Lewis Anderson St. Clair, Sr. and Mary Murray "Bea" St. Clair, Mr. St. Clair was preceded in death by a son, Justin Alfred St. Clair.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church with Rev. Paul Burns and Rev. Donnie Bowker officiating.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alleghany Humane Society, P .O. Box 60, Low Moor, VA 24457 or the Clifton Forge Public Library, 535 Church Street, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
