Obituary for Alma Lee Rudisill Warren Alma Lee Rudisill Warren
Former Coca Cola Bottling Plant Employee Was Avid Golfer, Traveler

Alma Lee Rudisill Warren was born on April 22, 1920 to George and Agatha Barton Rudisill in Clifton Forge, VA.

Alma graduated from Clifton Forge High School in 1938, and went on to attend Dunsmore Business School in Staunton, VA.

During World War II, she traveled to Washington, DC to work on behalf of the war effort, and followed that with 25 loyal years at the Coca Cola bottling plant in Clifton Forge.

Alma was married in 1942 to E. Ewell Bradley, in 1962 to Ron Hayslip, and in 1976 to Leslie Warren.

Alma discovered a love for travel with her second husband, Ron, and continued until she had seen most of the globe.

Alma was a skilled golfer, enjoying the Greenbrier greens as both a player and as a volunteer for tournaments.

A visit with Alma was not complete without a drive out to the Greenbrier for lunch. She loved to paint and craft, she had a sharp wit, and boy, she loved to tell jokes.

Alma is preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest K. Rudisill of Richmond, George K. Rudisill of Clifton Forge, and her sister, Helen Agatha Rudisill in 1925. She is survived by her sister, Anne Rudisill Tuttle of Vashon, WA, and her brother, Benjamin B. Rudisill of Woodbridge, VA., and her many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her cousin, Ann Rudisill Drewry of Clifton Forge.

Alma's family would like to thank the staff at Highland House for their kindness, and also Mountain Regional Hospice for their care during her last days. A special shout out to Wendy Biggs of Clifton Forge, for being a loyal friend to the family.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later time.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is handling arrangements.
