Annie Bayne Loan, 88, of The Woodlands Health and Rehab in Clifton Forge, Virginia, formerly of Nimrod Hall, Millboro, died Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Woodlands.

She was born February 13, 1928 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, a daughter of the late Roosevelt W. and Icy young Bayne.

She was a member of Horeb Baptist Church in Millboro, and was a homemaker throughout her life.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Delemo "Doots" Loan; a son, James D. Loan; two sisters, Evelyn Persinger, Sylvia Burdette, and a brother, Louis W. "Sonny" Bayne.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda Black and her husband, Jay, of Millboro, Deena Bobbitt and her husband Steve, of Massanutten, Va; two sons, David Loan, of Unionville, Virginia and Andrew Loan, of Waynesboro; four grandchildren: Jeff Black, Josh Loan, Dylan Bobbitt, Will Bobbitt; a great-granddaughter; Sydney Dill, two brothers, Roger Bayne, of North Carolina, and Bernard Bayne, of Florida.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday July 25, 2016 from Horeb Baptist Church in Millboro with the Reverend Stephen Markum officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon Monday until the time of the service at Horeb Baptist Church.
