Elgie Marie Little Kline, age 76, of 2300 Grafton Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at her residence.

She was born October 8, 1939 in Johnston County, North Carolina to the late James Ellon and Mary Leigh Evans Little.

She was a maitre d' for The Sheraton Hotel and was a member of Oak Hill Bible Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Mary Kline and three brothers, Larry Little, James Little, and Roy Little.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Wilson Kline of Clifton Forge; three sons, Ronald Kline, Donald Kline, and Jeffrey Kline; three sisters, Gloria Johnston, Mary Love, and Paula Cottrell; a brother, Charles Little; two grandchildren, Ronnie Kline and Jessica Kline Ratcliffe; two great grandchildren, Jaden Ratcliffe and Jordan Ratcliffe; a number of nieces and nephews; and her very best friend for over thirty years, Cheryl Stevenson.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Hill Bible Church, Clifton Forge with Reverend Roger Bush officiating.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday morning, one hour prior to the service at the church.
