Tara Katherine (Kate) O_Connor, age 41, of 1048 McCormick Boulevard, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her residence.

Kate was born October 5, 1974 in Maryland to the late John Joseph O'Connor III and Mary Hannah Robinson O'Connor.

She received a B.A. degree from University of New Hampshire and her A.A.S. degree from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, and was a registered nurse.

She was fluent in Spanish, enjoyed biking and dancing, and was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John O'Connor IV.

She is survived by a daughter, Keira O'Connor of Chester Springs, PA; a sister, Mary O'Connor Mack and husband, Richard of Nantucket, MA; a brother, Jim O'Connor of Jersey City, NJ; two cousins, Debbie Reichert and Kimberly Keiper, both of Chester Springs, PA; and four nieces and nephews, Sara Mack, Sean Mack, Mackenzie O'Connor, and Ian O'Connor.

In keeping with the family's wishes, her body has been cremated. There will be no services scheduled at this time.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, handled the arrangements.
