Gary Neal Montgomery, 59, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Salem Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born September 24, 1957 in Lexington, he was a son of Carolyn Ann Montgomery and the late Lyle Barth Montgomery.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sheryl Denise Chittum.

Surviving are his three sisters, Sandra Gail Montgomery, Teresa Lynn Heiser, and Dawn Elaine Walker and husband, James E. Walker; nieces and nephews, Blaine Bane, Travis Montgomery, Victoria Walker, and Mason Walker; and special friend, Amy Richardson.

A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Oronoco Brethren Church with the Rev. Arnold Bradley officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, Va.
