Barbara Clemons Jones, 84, of Clifton Woods Apartments, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Brian Center in Low Moor, Virginia.

Barbara was born November 27, 1931 in Ronceverte, WV.

Barbara was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

She worked with seniors at the League of Older Americans until her retirement.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her mother, Loretta C. Ayres; brother, Jimmy Clemons; sister, Patricia Butler, and granddaughter Taylor Jones.

She is survived by her three children, Loretta Orsi of Covington, VA, Michael Jones and girlfriend, Delia Ward of Hustonville, KY, and John Jones of Covington, VA.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, Bree and Erik Emurian and their two children, Michael Clark and his three children, David Jones, and Scott Jones. Barbara is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Clemons, her niece, Mickie Clemons, and nephew, Eddie Clemons.

A memorial service in honor of Barbara will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Temple Baptist Church in Covington, VA.

Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Barbara to the American Cancer Society to help find a cure.

The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
