Obituary for Linda Walton Cauley Linda Walton Cauley
Former Homestead Seamstress Was Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Member

Linda Walton Cauley, 71, of 330 W. Riverview Drive, Covington, Virginia died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 17, 1945 in Clifton Forge, daughter of the late Leonard Arlington Walton and Lottie Ellen Dobbs Stone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover "Boob" Cauley in 1993; an infant son; one sister, Lottie Sams and one brother, Leonard Walton.

Linda retired in 2001 as seamstress with the Homestead with over 25 years of service.

She was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.

Survivors are two daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Al Fox, Jr. and Michelle and Homer Warren, Jr., all of Covington; three grandsons, who were the love of her life, Will Warren, Matthew Warren and Alvin Fox III, all of Covington; two sisters, Lois Van Buren and her husband, Ricky, of Fairbanks, PA and Bertie Paxton of West Virginia; one brother, Bernard Walton of Clifton Forge; one step-sister, Becky Scott, of Macon, Georgia, and several nieces and nephews including, Roger Lee Walton, of Clifton Forge.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

The memorial service will be held Friday evening, November 11, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating. Following the service the family will receive friends at Arritt Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of Homer and Michelle Warren at 9311 Rich Patch Road, Covington.
