Doris Jean Dudley, age 62, of 2708 Clinton Street, Low Moor, Virginia died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was born November 21, 1954 in Botetourt County, Virginia to the late Ray Nelson Dudley and Lettie Pearl Wilcher Dudley.

She was a self-employed seamstress and member of Iron Gate Advent Christian Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Donna Markham and husband, Gilbert of Eagle Rock, and Gloria Wilcher and husband, Bucky of Low Moor; one niece; two nephews; four great nieces; special friends, Betty and Gail; and her cats, Blackie and Rascal.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Victor Nicely officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

Pallbearers will be selected from friends and family attending the service.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, and at other times on Friday and Saturday at her residence, 2708 Clinton Street, Low Moor.
