Obituary for Larry K. Brie Larry K. Brie
West Virginia Native Was Life Member Of The CFRS

Larry K. Brie, age 51, of 125 Bath Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Greenbrier County, West Virginia on July 23, 1965 to Ellen Marie Defibaugh Brie, and the late Ray Edward "Jack" Brie.

He was a big advocate of the Alleghany County Parks and Recreation.

He was a life member of the Clifton Forge Volunteer Rescue Squad as well as the Covington Volunteer Rescue Squad. He enjoyed outdoor sports and coaching little league.

Larry is survived by his wife, Tracey Campbell Brie of Clifton Forge; his mother, Ellen Brie of Lewisburg, WV; four daughters, Ashleigh Brie and fiance Zach, and Gabriel Brie, both of Covington, Taylor Armentrout and Courtney Franklin, both of Clifton Forge; two sons, Jacob Gump and wife, Kelsey of Covington and Samuel Armentrout of Clifton Forge; two sisters, Karen Boyd and husband, Keith and Ronda Floyd, both from West Virginia; one brother, Alan Brie of Selma; five nieces and nephews, Michael Abalos, James Floyd, Courtney Floyd, Lillie Brie, and Cassandra Brie.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions in his memory to the Epworth United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 190, Selma VA 24474.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is handling the arrangements.
