Retha Pearl Hosey Byer of Covington, VA, went to her heavenly home on December 14, 2016.
Retha (known by her friends and family as Rethie) went to be with her husband Hugh Byer and parents, Jesse and Ivy Hosey.
She was born in 1933 and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In her last years, she was cared for by nephew, Gunner and Imogene Hosey, Michael Sharp, and Kenny Kress.
The family will hold a memorial service and fellowship on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Midway Community Christian Church on Selma/Low Moor Road in Low Moor, VA.
The Loving Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
