Obituary for Mary Bowyer Reynolds Mary Bowyer Reynolds
Co-Owner Of Red's TV, Covington Dairy Queen Dies At Age 93

Mrs. Mary Bowyer Reynolds, age 93, of Covington, Virginia died Friday, January 6, 2017, at her residence.

She was the wife of Walter Glenn Reynolds, Jr.

Mrs. Reynolds was born June 19, 1923 in Newport, the daughter of the late Garfield Bowyer and Zelia Patsiel Bowyer.

A resident of this area most of her adult life, she was the co-owner of the former Red's T. V. and Appliance and the former Dairy Queen in Covington.

She was a member of Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Reynolds is survived by two sons, Alan Glen "Buster" Reynolds and wife, Beverly of Roanoke and Walter Lee Reynolds and wife, Denise of Covington; three grandchildren, Seth Reynolds and wife, Heather, Christopher Reynolds and Travis Reynolds.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by an infant daughter in 1956 and an infant daughter in 1958.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 with Rev. Donnie Bowker officiating at Huffman Memorial Park, New Castle.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 2306 S. Church Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
