Gala Industries Retiree Was Alleghany County Schools Bus Driver

Colton Myron Stull, 76, of 407 Hooks Mill Lane, Covington, Virginia died, Tuesday, January 17, 2017.

He was born June 29, 1940, in Alleghany County, a son the late Earl Linwood Stull, Sr. and Josephine Lucy Deisher Stull.

Mr. Stull retired from Gala Industries, Inc. and was employed by Alleghany County School Board as a bus driver for over 20 years.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Thomas Stull of Covington; his daughter, Linda Stull of Covington; his brother, Earl L. "Sonny" Stull, Jr. and his wife, Charlotte of Covington; nieces and nephews, Linda Boggs and Carmen and Judd Smith, Myron and Windy Stull, Meade and Beth Stull and George Stull, all of Covington; and Ivan and Tammy Stull of Gum Spring; several great-nieces and great-nephews and his dogs, Buddy and Chief.

The funeral service will be held Friday evening, January 20, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Riddleberger officiating.

Following the service the family will receive friends at Arritt Funeral Home.

A private interment will be held Saturday in the Stull Family Cemetery in Rich Patch.
