Obituary for Linda Marie Crawley Linda Marie Crawley
Covington Resident Was Former Lear, Inc. Employee

Linda Marie Crawley, 62, of 603 E. Cherry Street, Covington, Virginia passed peacefully Thursday, January 26, 2017, at her home.

She was born July 17, 1954, at Alleghany Regional Hospital.

Linda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Lee Wilkerson; her father, William Kermit "Frosty" Crawley, Sr. and a sister, Regina Mae Hunter.

Linda was a former employee of Lear, Inc. in Covington and was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.

Linda loved her family more than anything. She was an avid reader. She was a very passionate caregiver, who touched the lives of many families in this community throughout the years.

Linda was a wonderful mother, dedicated grandmother and a loving daughter, aunt and sister. She was very special to us in our individual ways but collectively she was everything to all who knew her.

Surviving are her lifelong companion of more than 40 years, Charles White of Covington; her loving mother, Selena Crawley of Covington; three brothers, William Kermit Crawley, Jr. and his wife, Lindsay of Newport news; George Crawley and Jasper Daniel "JC" Crawley, both of Covington; two sisters, Teresa Crawley ray, Juanita Helton and husband, Kenny, all of Covington; three children, Eric Crawley and his wife, Jennifer of Covington; daughters, Tamara Khumalo and her husband, Khaya and Rosalyn Mbeshu, all of Covington; three grandchildren, Kamaria Mbeshu; Kimani Mbeshu and Jace Crawley, all of Covington; numerous nieces and nephews, including Shawanna Barber and Demetria "Meme" Douglas, both of Covington and special friends, Mr. and Mrs. James Synder and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wilson, all of Covington.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, February, 2, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Gospel Tabernacle Church of God In Christ with Elder Pete Moore officiating.

Interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gene Crawford, Milton Helton, Tony Allen, Troy Helton, James "Cheese" Smith, and Rod Jeter. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Hunter, Willie Blakey, Stewart White, and Augustine Penn. Flower girls will be Teresa Hunter, Sheila Darkwa, Starr Jemings, Kaye James and Connie Holloway.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia is in charge of arrangements.
