Former Owner Of Broughman Plumbing & Heating Dies At Age 66

Walter James Broughman, Jr., 66, of 1710 Main Street, Apartment #323, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Friday February 24, 2017 at his residence.

He was born March 30, 1950 in Alleghany County, Virginia, a son of the late Walter James Broughman, Sr. and the late Alise Ellen Hyler Broughman.

He was the owner and operator of Broughman Plumbing & Heating.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Catherine "Poochie" Riley, three brothers; Timmy, Johnny, and Clyde Broughman, and three granddaughters.

He is survived by three daughters; Karen Rocha, Belinda Newton, Patty Broughman, three sons; Walter Broughman, III, Johnny Broughman, Tommy Broughman, two sisters; Beryl Little, Nettie Wolfe, two brothers; Bobby Broughman, Raymond Broughman, thirteen grandchildren, including a special granddaughter; Timber; three great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, handled the arrangements.
