Susie Ann Brown, age 63, of 422 Keswick Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her residence.

She was born December 30, 1953 in Clifton Forge to Dorothy Brown Mills and the late George Brown.

She retired from Social Services as a daycare worker, was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading, exploring family history, and watching movies.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Mills.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Brown Mills of Tennessee; a daughter, Teresa Brown and fiance, Reverend William Bell of Clifton Forge; a son, Anthony Ricketts of Clifton Forge; two sisters, Pam Brown and Vanessa Mills, both of Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Main Street Baptist Church, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Preston Tyler and Reverend William Bell officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
