Scarlet Angelia Rogers Lowe, 57, of 106 East Pine Street, Covington, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 3, 2017.

Mrs. Lowe was born December 25, 1957 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Curtis and Bertha Bassett Rogers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Carico, and three brothers, David Rogers, Eddie Cook and Junior Cook.

Surviving are her daughter, Heather Forbes, and her husband, Scottie of Covington; her son, Jon Green and Brooke Ryder of Covington; six grandchildren: Nevaeh Forbes, Ethan Forbes, Abrielle Forbes, Boggie Forbes, Bryson Green and Kinlee Green; three sisters, Debbie Cook and Christy Huggins, both of High Point, NC; and Marsha Lipscomb of Low Moor; four brothers: Gary Rogers of Clifton Forge, Johnny Rogers of Low Moor, Rocky Rogers of Big Stone Gap, and Phillip Small of High Point, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Her body has been cremated and a funeral service will be held at a later date.

The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, is handling the arrangements.
