Mr. Leroy Justice (Buck) Forbes, Jr., age 74, of Low Moor, Virginia, died April 4, 2017 at his residence

. Mr. Forbes was born December 25, 1942 in Covington, the son of the late Leroy Justice Forbes, Sr. and Laurrene Lowe Forbes.

A lifetime resident of this community, he was employed in the Production Department of Westvaco.

Mr. Forbes was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Buck enjoyed dealing with antiques and was the owner of the former Snake Run Antiques in Clifton Forge.

He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Forbes is survived by a son, Marty Forbes and wife, Joanne of Covington; a daughter, Kristy Forbes Morgan and husband, Michael of Covington; four grandchildren, Meghan Forbes and fiance, Chris Cugler, Ethan Forbes, Mikayla Morgan and Autumn Morgan; a sister, Becky Nichols and husband, Carl of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at the church.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of donations to the Alleghany Humane Society, P. O. Box 60, Low Moor, VA 24457.
