Virginia Gilley Gray of Roanoke, Virginia, died in her home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

She was born on November 19, 1960 in Pulaski, Virginia.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Phyllis Gilley.

She is remembered by her longtime boyfriend, Jeff Broughfman; her two brothers, Giles of Roanoke and David Gilley of Craig County; her sister, Ann Erskine of Iron Gate; her two daughters, Audrey and Lauren Gray, both of Roanoke; her devoted dog, Sophie; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Visitation for Virginia will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Oakey's South Chapel.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1264 Auxiliary.
