Obituary for Dennis William Jack Dennis William Jack
Owner Of D. J. Auto Center Was Millboro Christian Church Member

Dennis William Jack, 70, of 1922 S. Rugby Ave, Covington, Virginia, died Friday, June 24, 2017 at his residence.

He was born in Clifton Forge on July 7, 1946, a son of the late Jasper C. and Daisy Loving Jack.

He was a member of Millboro Christian Church, the Covington Moose Lodge and the NRA.

He was a retired employee of CSX Transportation and a former employee of Hercules.

Dennis was the owner and operator of D. J. Auto Center, LLC in Covington.

He also loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved riding his motorcycle and his wish was for all of his "riding buddies" to ride their bikes and join him for one more ride.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Smith Jack, of Covington; two daughters, Tammy Jack Hosey (Thomas W.), of Middleburg, PA, Lani McCallister Skiff, of Covington; two sisters, Julia Forney, of Glen Burnie, PA, Ella Stark, of Goshen; three brothers, Delano Jack, of Goshen, "Skeet" Jack, Millboro, Jasper C. Jack, Jr., of Covington; four grandchildren, Dennis Wayne Hosey, of Williamsport, PA, Thomas A. Hosey, of Raleigh, NC, Ian-Seth Hunter Myers, and Logan McKenna Skiff, both of Covington; a great grandson, who was the love of his life, Jack Dean Hosey, special nephews, Delano "Junior" Jack, a great nephew, D. J. Jack, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 28, 2017 in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge, with the Reverend Lloyd Via, and Reverend Paul Burns officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in Millboro Christian Church Cemetery in Millboro.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Nicely Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in his memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Association, 1050 Connecticut Ave SW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20036
