Ruth Hemion Ramp Wanstall, age 89, of 820 Palace Boulevard, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Friday, July 7, 2017 at The Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Low Moor.

She was born September 4, 1927 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to the late Fredrick Ramp and Edith A. Hemion Ramp.

Ruth retired from Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Connecticut, as a lab technician and was a former member of the South Amenia Presbyterian Church in New York.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, William David Jeffery and her second husband, Reverend Robert Wanstall.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce Jeffery and Fred Jeffery; three grandchildren, Vanessa Jagusztyn, Kenneth Jeffery and Kristin Jeffery; and two great grandchildren, Jackson Jagusztyn and Julia Jagusztyn.

In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Paul Brokaw officiating.
